Independence Day

Dear Sir/Madam,

Independence Day of the United States, celebrated on July 4th, is a special occasion to reflect on the history and values that have shaped this country. On this day in 1776, the thirteen American colonies signed the Declaration of Independence, declaring their independence from Great Britain.

This event laid the foundation for the development of freedom, democracy, and civil rights in America. For us, Poles, the United States Independence Day is also an opportunity to remember the strong bonds that connect our two nations. Values such as freedom, equality, and the pursuit of a better life are close to both Poles and Americans. Our shared history, especially the participation of Poles in the fight for the independence of the United States, reminds us of how much we have in common.

On this day, it is worth taking a moment to reflect on the significance of freedom and how we can nurture and protect it in today's world. Let July 4th be an inspiration for us to act for peace, democracy, and mutual understanding among nations. We sincerely wish everyone a joyful and reflective Independence Day!
